LABOR DAY: SEPTEMBER 7 — Agricultural Trades and History Museum Outdoor Cafe, East Corinth village (601 Village Rd) — open 10am – 12 noon. The final cafe of the season will be hosted by Jennifer Locke. PARKING: due to congestion, please consider parking up the road at the library or in front of the church. SEPTEMBER 26 — OLD HOME DAYS, 10am – 12noon at the Corinth Town Hall and Orchard in Cookeville (the town apple orchard is directly behind the town hall). Join us for a day of horse-drawn parades, town picnic and old fashioned games (egg and spoon, sack, three-legged races), apple pressing and photo in the town orchard. You are apt to find something you can use or give as a gift. We accept the items on this list every Saturday when we’re open. As always, please give your items to the volunteer on duty and don’t leave anything when we’re closed. We always need more volunteer help. This a community service that’s fun and very low stress. The wi-fi network at the town hall is available for public use 24/7. The network is: East Corinth Hotspot – no password is needed.
LITTLE FREE LIBRARY
Corinth’s Little Free Library is located on the Town Hall front porch. A Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. Such libraries function on the honor system: you do not need to share a book to take one. If you take a book or two from the library, feel free to bring others to share to that same library or another in your area when you can. Please never leave boxes of books on the porch.
