NEW GREEN-UP DAY COORDINATORS

Beginning in 2018 Green Up Day will be organized by a Green Up Day Team. Please welcome Ken Arkind who has graciously offered to be the point person for the team, and Rivendell High School Senior Melissa Eaton who will serve as a student intern. The remainder of the team will consist of the Corinth Conservation Commission; however, anyone who is interested in serving on the Green Up Day Team is encouraged to contact any of these persons to find out more information.

CERT TRAINING COURSE

Learn how to respond to emergency situtations. This course is free and open to anyone 16+ years. Info here: CERT-Training-3-2017

FIRE WARDEN – BURN PERMITS

You must get a burn permit if you are planning to burn. Contact Joe Truss, Corinth Fire Warden, for a permit: 439-6178. Please try to plan ahead and call a few days before the burn to insure you can contact Joe for the permit before you have the fire. If Joe isn’t available call Fire Chief, Ed Pospisil at 439-6074. Note: During winter when there is snow on the ground a burn permit is not required.

FEBRUARY 6 — Blake Memorial Library Special Board Meeting. The Board of Trustees are holding a special meeting with architect and designer Jay White and interested community members to discuss a design for potential library renovations. The public is welcome!

FEBRUARY 17 — Winter Fest at the Northeast Slopes. More info at northeastslopes.org

FEBRUARY 17 — Corinth Coffeehouse Town Hall Music Series. Join us for live music by Social Club Orchestra. This performance will benefit the Blake Memorial Library. 7pm at the Town Hall. Suggested donation: $5 – $10 per person includes yummy refreshments at intermission! see poster »

FEBRUARY 25 — Northeast Slopes Annual Cardboard Race! More info at northeastslopes.org

MARCH 6 — Town Meeting begins at 10am at the Town Hall, 1387 Cookeville Road. Break for lunch at noontime. Polls will be open all day from 8:30am – 7:00pm.

MARCH 7 — Rabies Clinic. Have your dog vaccinated against rabies for only $10.00 at the East Corinth Fire Station in East Corinth village. 6-7PM.

MARCH 17 — Corinth Coffeehouse Town Hall Music Series. Join us for live music by Jennifer Lord and the Riders of the Apocalpyse. This performance will benefit Northeast Slopes. 7pm at the Town Hall. Suggested donation: $5 – $10 per person includes yummy refreshments at intermission! see poster »

APRIL 1 — Dog License Deadline. Avoid late fees by purchasing your dog license by April 1. This is a Vermont State Law. $9 for spayed/neutered dogs; $13 for unspayed/unneutered dogs. See Nancy Ertle, Town Hall Clerk.

APRIL 21 — Corinth Coffeehouse Town Hall Music Series. Join us for live music by Ian Fitzgerald as a benefit for the Topsham-Corinth Little League. 7pm at the Town Hall. Suggested donation: $5 – $10 per person includes yummy refreshments at intermission! Save the date for the final performance of the season on May 19.
